I had some old bananas and I was going to make banana bread out of them. But I realized I was out of brown sugar. So then the next day I got the sugar and I was going to again but I realized I didn't have enough eggs. So it was a few days later when I got eggs. Then I was all ready to make my banana bread. Except now the bananas are beyond banana bread stage and onto the only fit for fruit flies stage. I suppose the moral is don't count your bananas before they're hatched or something like that. :p
